Chairman of Quang Binh provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Tô Ngọc Hồng on September 10 led a delegation checking the state governance on religion in Quang Trach district.
The inspection delegation had a meeting with Quang Trach district People’s Commitete led by Vice Chairman of Quang Trach district People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Anh for exchanges on the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and other legal provisions on belief and religion in the district.
Quang Trach district currently has 19,000 Catholics accounting for 21% the population district with one deanery, seven parishes, 21 sub-parishes and one Congregation of Lovers of the Holy Cross, and about 100 Buddhists.
