Quang Binh provincial Department of Home Affairs held on January 5 a meeting to review its annual performance which included the state governance on religious affairs 2018.
The event saw the presence of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Trần Công Thuật, representative leaders from the provincial concerning departments and agencies, representatives from district-level people’s committees and home affairs offices in the province.
Regarding the state governance on religious affairs, the meeting report highlighted the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and its guiding Decree No.162 in the locality with ten religious law dissemination conferences held by the religious committee under the home affairs department in 2018.
In addition, the religious committee has closely worked with concerning sectors and localities in timely proposing solutions to religious issues related land and constructions, as well as recomendations for meeting needs of religious practices and recognition of religious establishments.
