Quang Binh provincial Department of Home Affairs held on January 13 a meeting to review its annual performance which includes the state governance on belief and religion 2020.
The event saw the presence of Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Trần Thắng, representatives from the provincial concerning departments and agencies, the district-level People’s Committees and home affairs offices in the province.
Regarding the state governance on religious affairs, for the past year, the state administration on belief and religion has recorded positive results in disseminating legal documents related to the state management on belief and religion and preventive measures against Covid-19 pandemic for religious followers, and encouraging the national flags raising at religious worshipping places.
In particular, the provincial authorities in Quang Binh held four dissemination meetings on the law on belief and religion for officials tasked with religious affairs in the locality in 2020.
As approved at the meeting, the working plan for 2021 in the province will focus on key tasks creating conditions for religious practices of local people and timely addressing practical issues related to religion in the locality.
