A delegation from the home affairs department in Quang Binh led by Deputy Director Phan Ngọc Duy extended visits to local Catholic parishes on December 16 ahead of Christmas 2018.
The delegation joined by Chairman of the provincial Religious Affairs Committee Tô Ngọc Hồng visited parishes of Trung Hai, Hoa Ninh, Van Phu and Dan Sa in the province.
During the visits, Deputy Director Phan Ngọc Duy extended warm Christmas celebrations to parishioners and expressed hope that Catholic dignitaries in the parishes would continue encouraging local Catholics to proactively engage in patriotic movements launched in the locality.
As reported, concerning provincial authorities in Quang Binh province would also visit other Christian organizations in the province for presenting congratulations and gifts on the occasion of Christmas 2018.
