The department of home affairs in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum held on September 22 a meeting for advocating the national flag-raising at religious places in the province.
Joining the event chaired by Deputy Director of the home affairs department Nguyễn Thành Trung included representatives of religious organizations and concerning provincial authorities in the locality.
At the meeting, Deputy Director Nguyễn Thành Trung asked religious organizations and subordination organizations in Kon Tum to encourage religious dignitaries, deacons and clerics, as well as lay religious to raise the national flag on national events and important religious festivals, and
The official also guided the national flag-raising in solemn manners as prescribed by the Guidance on usage of national flag, emblem and anthem and portrait of President Ho Chi Minh issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism in October, 2012.
