Director of Home Affairs Department in Ha Giang province Bùi Văn Tuân led a delegation on March 29 to visit Thanh Tam Catholic parish in Ha Giang city, on occasion of Easter celebration 2018.
Priest Head of Thanh Tam parish Joseph Nguyễn Ngọc Thể welcomed the delegation.
During the visiting reception, Director Bùi Văn Tuân extended Easter wishes to priests and Catholics in the parish. He urged dignitaries to encourage parishioners to actively participate in social movements and programs, and closely works with local authorities for socio-economic development in the province.

Thanh Tam Catholic parish established in 2014 currently has 450 Catholics mainly living in Ha Giang provincial city and neighboring districts of Vi Xuyen, Quan Ba, Bac Me and Yen Minh.
