Home Affairs Department in Ca Mau extends visits to Buddhist summer schools in the province

Director of Ca Mau provincial Home Affairs Department Huỳnh Ngọc Sang paid on July 22 visits to two summer retreat schools of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s chapter in the province.

         

Director of Ca Mau provincial Home Affairs Department Huỳnh Ngọc Sang extends greetings to Buddhist summer school for monks

The home affairs department official was accompanied by Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Hòa Dựa.

At the visits, Director Huỳnh Ngọc Sang sent his greetings to all Buddhist monks and nuns participating in the summer retreat, and had exchanges with the Buddhists on socio-economic development in the province over the last year.

On behalf of monks and nuns in Buddhist summer schools, Senior Venerable Thích Phước Minh, Vice Chairman of the VBS’s Executive Committee in the province took the chance to thank the visiting delegation and expressed hope that the provincial authorities would continue guiding and supporting the VBS chapter to successfully convene its 8th congress scheduled in August.

The Buddhist summer retreat 2022 in Ca Mau took place in two venues of Phat To pagoda and Kim Son pagoda, with 147 participating monks and nuns.
