A ceremony for handing over a charity house to a disadvantaged Catholic family in Thach Trung commune of Ha Tinh province’s Ha Tinh City was held on June 3.

The event was co-organized by the Fatherland Front Committee in the province in collaboration with Thach Trung commune authority, and the Pastoral Council and Caritas Board of Chan Thanh parish under Ha Tinh diocese.
During the event, the new charity house was handed over to the extremely disadvantaged family of Mrs. Võ Thị Thu Trang in the commune.
The contribution for completing the construction of the charity house inclued 30 million VND donated by the municipal Fatherland Front Committee, and donations by Thach Trung commune and Chan Thanh parish.
As planned, the municipal Fatherland Front Committee will support the construction of 23 new charity houses for local disadvantaged families in 2022.
