At the visiting reception, Vice Chairman Lê Ngọc Châu also wished successes to Bishop Louis Nguyễn Anh Tuấn in his new post, contributing to improve the spiritual and material life of parishioners in the diocese and making practical contributions for sustainable developments in localities. 

While highly appreciating the congratulation visit of the Ha Tinh provincial authorities, Bishop Louis Nguyễn Anh Tuấn affirmed that he would continue guiding Catholic practices in accordance with the church’s teachings and State’ laws, and encouraging local Catholics to proactively engage in the Covid-19 prevention control and the upcoming elections of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and all-level People’s Councils for the term 2021-2026.   

Earlier Pope Francis has appointed Bishop Louis Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, who serves in Ho Chi Minh City Archdiocese and as Head of the Committee for Pastoral Care of Migrants under the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Vietnam, as Apostolic Administrator of Ha Tinh Diocese in the North Central region of Vietnam following the resignation of Bishop Paul Nguyễn Thái Hợp.
