The People’s Committee in Ha Tinh province has issued Plan No. 28/KH-UBND on developing cultures of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development in the 2021-2030 period.

The plan aimed to implement the Prime Minister's Decision No. 1719 National target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2021-2030 period; the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Decision No. 3404/QD-BVHTTDL on approving the project "Preserving and promoting the values of folk songs, folk dances and folk music of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development in the 2021-2030 period, and preserve and promote the traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in the province (Chut ethnic groups in communes of Huong Vinh and Huong Lien of Huong Khe district) in association with tourism development.
Main contents of the approved plan include the preservation of traditional festivals of Cham cha boi, “Lap Lo” in Rao Tre village of Huong Lien commune and Cha Leng in Giang II village of Huong Vinh commune; the provision of bookcases in villages of Rao Tre and Giang II; the establishments of clubs for folklore activities in villages of Rao Tre and Giang II; and the production and promotion of typical tourism products for Chut ethnic minority, etc.
