Government Religious Committee official attend 6th women congress of Minh Chon Caodai Church

The Minh Chon (Verity Way) Caodai Church held on March 8 its 6th women’s congress for the 2023-2028 tenure in Ca Mau province.

The event taking place at Ngoc Sac Holy See located in the province’s Thoi Binh district saw the presence Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Nguyễn Ánh Chức, Head of the GCRA’s Caodai Affairs Division Nguyễn Phúc Nguyên, Vice Chairwoman of the provincial Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Hồng Thắm, representatives from Committee for Religious Affairs in provinces of Soc Trang and Bac Lieu, and over 800 delegates of the Caodai Church.

The congress has mapped out working plans for the sixth term. Accordingly, women of the Verity Way Caodai Church would speed up religious practices in accordance with the religious Charter and the State law, as well as proactively engage in patriotic movements and social programs launched by local authorities, contributing to the development of the locality.
As reported at the event, over the past five years, women of the Verity Way Caodai Church made social charitable contributions valued over 39 billion VND. In particular, responding social programs launched by local authorities, women of the Verity Way Caodai Church has presented 112 charity houses with the total value of over 3.6 billion VND.
