The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Gia Lai province held on February 9 an exchange meeting with representatives of religious organizations in the province, on the occasion of the spring of the Cat 2023.
Present at the event included Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Rah Lan Chung, Chairman of the provincial VFF Hồ Văn Điềm, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Ayun H’Bút, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dương Mah Tiệp, and 55 religious dignitaries representing five religions in the province.
During the meeting, while extending spring greetings to religious dignitaries and lay followers of religions in the locality, Gia Lai provincial authorities informed the participating religious dignitaries results of socio-economic development in the province last year, and working plans for 2023.
Speaking at the meeting, religious dignitaries took the chance to thank to provincial authorities and concerning agencies for creating favorable conditions to religious practices of followers and affairs of religious organizations over the past years.
