A delegation from Gia Lai provincial authorities led by Vice Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Thị Thanh Lịch paid on December 17 Christmas visits to Christian churches in provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum.
The delegation visited the office of Kon Tum diocese, the provincial Representative Committee under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) and Thanh Tam Catholic parish in Gia Lai province’s Pleiku city.
During the visits, while extending merry Christmas to local Christian dignitaries as well as to all Christian followers, Vice Chairwoman Nguyễn Thị Thanh Lịch informed socio-economic situation of the province in 2021 as well as highly appreciated practical contributions made by Christian followers in for the socio-economic development and the Covid-19 prevention work in the locality.
