At opening ceremony of training conference for fostering knowledge and professional skills on ethnic and religious affairs

Attending the opening ceremony included Chairman of the municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Hữu Hiệp, Vice Chairman of the municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization Nguyễn Thị Bạch Mai and Vice Chairman of the municipal Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Phan Kiều Thanh Hương.

The training event lasts until June 10 with the participation of 70 cadres in charge of mass mobilization work and religious affairs in Ho Chi Minh city’s districts and Thu Duc city.

Training conference covers key contents of the Party’s guidelines on ethnic and religion, current ethnic and religious life in the city, the organization structure, leading personnel, teachings, rituals of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism, Hoa Hoa Buddhism and Muslim, traditional customs of Chinese, Khmer and Cham people, and professional skills on ethnic and religious affairs.

According to Chairman Nguyễn Hữu Hiệp, the municipal Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization will organize four training conferences on ethnic and religious affairs ( July from 4 to 13 and from 18 to 27, August from 1 to 11 and from 15 to 24) for over 600 participants.
