Senior Venerable Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Committee in Soc Trang province cum Abbot of Van Pagoda Lý Minh Đức welcomed the former state president.

Former State President presents gift to Som Rong Pagoda

During the visit, Former State President Trần Đức Lương spoke highly of the pagoda’s efforts in preserving Khmer cultural identities.

He also expressed hope that Khmer Buddhist dignitaries and followers would further promote the fine tradition of national unity and practically contribute to community cohesion and social development in the locality.
