Da Nang city Committee for Religious Affairs organized on July 24-27 a football tournament between religious teams and two teams from the home affairs department and the city public security.
The religious teams in the city participating in the football tournament came from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Chapter in the city, Da Nang Diocese, the United World Mission Church, Baha’i faith Community, the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern), the Missionary Caodai Church.
The event taking place at Duy Tan stadium, Hai Chau ward on occasion of 64th founding anniversary of the State sector on religious affairs (August 2nd, 1955 - August 2nd, 2019) saw the participation of Chairman of the city Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Khôi and representatives from the municipal authorities and religious organizations in the city.
This is the third football exchange with religious teams organized by the city commitee for religious affairs for fostering mutual understanding and promoting collaboration between local authorities and religious organizations in the city.
