The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) held from March 5-7 an extensive training conference on state management on religion in Nghe An province.
The training’s opening ceremony taking place on March 5 saw the presence of Chairman of the GCRA Vũ Chiến Thắng, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nghe An Lê Hồng Vinh, Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Lưu Công Vinh, and nearly 200 cadres and civil servants tasked with religious affairs in province.
The three-day training covered topics on state policies and laws on religion, updated information on the religious life in Vietnam and the world, as well as key tasks of the state administration on Catholicism at the grassroots level.
On this occasion, the GCRA presented 1,000 national flags to locals including Catholics in Nghe An province’s Cua Lo provincial city.
