An Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on September 1 an exchange meeting with key members of religious organizations in the province.
The event saw the participation of representatives from the provincial committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, public security and commission for mass mobilization, and 45 delegates who are, dignitaries and deacons from religious organizations of Hoa Hao Buddhism, Tu An Hieu Nghia Faith, Tay Ninh Caodai Church, Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam and the Pure-Land Buddhist Association in the locality.
During the meeting, the provincial authorities informed religious participants of the socio-economic development of the province over the past years, as well as contents of the draft law on special administrative-economic zones and the cyber security law.
The exchange event also created an opportunity for religious organizations in the locality to reflect any difficulties in implementing the Law on Belief and Religion 2016.
