Lai Vung district Party’s Committee in Dong Thap province has organized an exchange meeting with dignitaries of local religious organizations in the district on rural development.
At the meeting
The event saw the presence of Chairwoman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilizasion Lê Thị Kim Loan, representatives of district authorities, and 67 religious dignitaries in the district.
During the event, participating religious leaders were informed about the socio-economic development in the district and results on the new-style rural development in the locality.
Dignitaries of the religious organizations in the district have also expressed their commitment to accompany with emulation movements launched by the local authorities and guide religious followers to practically contribute to social charities, environmental protection and the new-style rural development in the district.
