Dong Nai provincial Committee for Religious Affairs held on November 6 an exchange meeting with dignitaries and deacons representing Caodaism, Hoa Hao Buddhism, the Pure-land Buddhist Church and Islamic community in the province.
Present at the event also included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Quốc Vũ and representatives from local authorities.
During the meeting, the provincial religious committee briefed about the socio-economic development in the first nine months of 2020, practices of belief and religion in the province and the 11th provincial Party’s congress, etc.
Participating religious dignitaries and deacons took the chance to express their delight at the outcomes of socio-economic development and the Covid-19 prevention work in the locality.
The meeting also gave explanations on practical issues relating religious practices in the locality over the past years.
