Long An provincial authorities in collaboration with Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s committee held on July 24 an exchange meeting with key ethnic and religious people in the province.

During the meeting, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Phạm Văn Cảnh informed local ethnic and religious representatives results of socio-economic development in the province in the first half of the year 2018. As reported, during the first six months of 2018, local ethnic people and religious dignitaries, deacons and believers actively participated in socio-economic development programs launched by the provincial authorities and made practical contributions to social, security and national unity in the loaclity.
Addressing the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Đỗ Hữu Lâm asked local authorities and provincial VFF’s committee to better implement ethnic and religious policies and laws and create favorable conditions for ethnic and religious people in the province to fulfill their civic obligations and make practical contributions to socio-economic development in the locality.
