Pastor Vice President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (North) (ECVN) Bùi Văn Sản led a delegation on January 24 visited and met with Deputy Secretary of Lang Son province Party’s Committee Hoàng Văn Nghiệm on occasion of Lunar New Year (Tet) 2019.
At the reception, Pastor Bùi Văn Sản extended Tet wishes to officials of the provincial government and took the chance to thank local authorities for their due attention and favorable conditions extended to religious affairs of the Protestant chapter in the province.
Speaking with the guests, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Hoàng Văn Nghiệm thanked the ECVN delegation for its visit ahead of the Vietnam traditional New Year 2019 and praised practical contributions of Protestant followers to the socio-economic development in the locality. He expressed hope that the ECVN (North) and its Bac Son church chapter in the province would encourage followers to proactively join local movements, contributing to the development of the locality.
