Ethnic committee in Kien Giang extends congratulations to Khmer people on Sene Dolta Festival

Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs in Kien Giang province Danh Phúc extended on September 17 visits to Buddhist pagodas of Giong Da and Cay Trom in Giong Rieng district’s Ban Thach commune of the province, on occasion of Sene Dolta Festival 2020.
During the visits, Chairman Danh Phúc extended congratulations and warm celebrations of Sene Dolta to Senior Venerable Chairman of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Giong Rieng district cum Abbot of Cay Trom pagoda Danh Dỗ, as well as all Khmer monks and lay Buddhists in the locality.

On the occasion, the official presented six gift sets to Khmer Buddhist dignitaries, policy beneficiaries and retired officials in the locality.
