The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Thai Nguyen province held on April 11 a conference on environmental protection and climate change adaptation in religious areas in the province’s Pho Yen city.

The conference drew over 130 key members of local authorities and religious organizations in the city.
The conference covered basic contents on state policies & laws on environmental protection and climate change adaptation, successful models in actively adapting climate change and impacts of environmental pollution, and difficulties in the environmental protection work.
The event aims to disseminate state policies and law in environmental protection to local people, especially in religious areas, and strengthen people’s awareness in protecting natural resources, contributing to enhance environmental quality and better protect and promote efficient use of natural resources.
