Dong Thap authorities commemorates Hoa Hao Buddhist on birthday of founding Patriarch Huỳnh Phú Sổ

A delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ben Tre province led by Vice Chairwoman Đoàn Thị Nghiệp paid on December 27 visits to the commune-level Executive Board of Hoa Hao Buddhism in the province on the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of the Buddhist sect’s founder, Prophet Huỳnh Phú Sổ (the 25th day of the 11th lunar month).
The delegation visited the Executive Board of Hoa Hao Buddhism in Chau Thanh district’s Tan Binh commune and Lai Vung district’s Tan Hoa commune.
During the visits, Vice Chairwoman Đoàn Thị Nghiệp extended greetings to the Hoa Hao executive boards and followers of Hoa Hao Buddhist Church in the province. She also highly appreciated practical contributions made by local Hoa Hao Buddhist followers, such as social charities and the Covid-19 prevention work, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality over the past years
Earlier, Dong Thap provincial authorities have visited and presented greetings to the Executive Boards of Hoa Hao Buddhism and Hoa Hoa Buddhist followers in the province on the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of the Buddhist sect’s founder, Prophet Huỳnh Phú Sổ.
