Dong Nai authorities praise individuals and groups in environmental protection

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Dong Nai province and the provincial Natural Resources and Environment Department co-organized on December 29 a conference for reviewing the five-year coordination program promoting religious engagement in environmental protection and climate change adaptation for the period 2016-2021.

Presenting certificates of recommendation to outstanding individuals, groups for practical contributions in environmental protection

As reported at the conference, Dong Nai province currently has 151 action plans run by local religious communities on the environmental protection, with over 15 thousand green trees planted at worshipping places.

During the conference, the provincial VFF, provincial natural resources & environment department and 16 religious organizations signed the coordination programs for the period 2021-2026, with the target of engaging all local worshipping places in the tree-planting movement and the campaign of bright, green, clean, beautiful environment in worshipping places and residential areas.

On the occasion, the provincial authorities presented certificates of recommendation to 100 individuals and groups for their practical contributions in environmental protection for the period 2016-2021.
