Ba Don town in Quang Binh province disseminated religious laws and policies to local officials and Catholic followers at a meeting held on December 5.
About 80 participants who are representatives of the pastoral council of Catholic parishes and congregations and officials tasked with religious affairs in the town have attended the one-day meeting.
The meeting focused on guidelines and policies of the State on religions, key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion, as well as provided updated information relating socio-economic development, security and defense in the locality.
Ba Don town currently has 8,350 Catholic households with 37,300 people, accounting for 33% of the town population.
