Nghe An provincial People’s Committee held on December 4 a meeting to disseminate the Law on Belief and Religion to Catholic followers in the province.
Attending the meeting were large numbers of priests, clergypersons and representatives from Catholic parishes and congregations in Nghe An.
During the meeting, Former Director of Legislation and Inspection under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Khắc Huy introduced the building process of the law on belief and religion, key contents of the law as well as explained 15 new points as compared with the Ordinance on Belief and Religion contained in the law.
The event also introduced legal documents related to religious land and practical issues relating the usage and management of religious land in the locality.
