The home affairs department in Kon Tum province held on March 28-29 a conference for disseminating the Law on Belief and Religion to local religious dignitaries.
Attending the conference’s opening ceremony were Vice Chairman of the provincial home affairs department Nguyễn Thành Trung, Chairman of the provincial committee for religious affairs Vũ Quang Dũng, Deputy Director of legislation and inspection department under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Thị Định and over 90 dignitaries of Buddhism, Protestantism and Caodaism in the locality.
During the two-day event, Deputy Director Nguyễn Thị Định introduced new contents of the law on belief and religion, key contents of the Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the law and the Decision No. 199 of the Minister of Home Affairs on administrative procedures in the fields of belief and religion.
