As many as 900 religious dignitaries and deacons in Soc Trang province have attended a conference for disseminating the Law on Religion and Belief 2016 held from August 27-29.
The event organized by the provincial religious affairs committee also saw the presence of Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Phạm Minh Mẫn.
The three-day event covered key contents of state policies and laws on religion & belief, Decree No. 162 dated December 30, 2017, detailing a number of articles of the Law on Belief and Religion and prescribing measures for its implementation, and other legal provisions related to religion and belief.
