The Committee for Religious Affairs in Lam Dong province has held two disseminating conferences on religious laws in Bao Loc city for religious organizations from the province’s districts of Lac Duong, Don Duong, Lam Ha, Dam Rong and Duc Trong and Da Lat city.
The conference held on September 13 saw the participation of over 140 dignitaries and deacons of Buddhism and Caodaism, while over 140 dignitaries and deacons of Protestantism attended the second conference held one day later.
During the events, Chairman of the provincial committee for religious affairs Ngô Văn Đức presented topics on key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016, the government decree No. 162/2017/ND-CP on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and the administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion. Representatives from the provincial department of construction delivered presentations on legal provisions on religion-related construction.
The disseminating conferences also discussed and explained practical issues raised by religious participants relating to administrative related to religious construction, registration for religious activities, religious activities involving foreign elements, etc.
