Bac Tan Uyên district People’s Committee in Binh Duong province held on March 19 two conferences on the new Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree 162/2017/NĐ-CP to nearly 250 local officials and representatives from worshipping establishments in the district.
Attending the conferences were Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Đức Thịnh, officials tasked with religious affairs, and dignitaries and deacons of local religious organizations in the district.

During the events, Chairman Trần Đức Thịnh introduced key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree No.162/2017/ND-CP on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion. In addition, the provincial committee for religious affairs also took the chance to share the current religious life and issues in Binh Duong province and Bac Tan Yen district.
