Tien Giang provincial Committee for Religious Affairs has disseminated religious laws to Hoa Hao Buddhists in Cai Lay district at a meeting held on July 17 in Long Tien commune.
The event saw the participation of 84 Hoa Hao Buddhists in the district who are attending the training course on religious tenets held by Hoa Hao Buddhist’s Representative Committee in the province.
During the event, the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs introduced new contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016, 53 samples of administrative procedures in the field of religion as prescribed in the new law, as well as provided explanations on practical issues including registration for group religious practices and prohibited activities under the law.
