A conference for disseminating the Law on Belief and Religion and updating information on security and defense for Buddhist monks and nuns at the Buddhist school in Binh Duong province was held on May 7.
The event organized by the Home Affairs department in collaboration with the provincial Milatary Command and the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee in the province saw the participation of Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Committee Trần Đức Thịnh, Colonel Political Commissar of the provincial Military Command Ao Tấn Tài and nearly 200 Buddhist monks and nuns of the 4th course from the Buddhist school.
The one-day conference covered main contents of the Law on Belief and Religion 2016 and Decree 162 guiding the implementation of the new belief and religious law, as well as updated information on security – defense.
