As many as 340 local officials and followers of religions in Binh Duong province’s Dau Tieng district have participated in a meeting held on December 8 for disseminating Law on Belief and Religion.
The meeting was held by the Binh Duong provincial authorities in collaboration with the political school in the district, with participants who are key commune-level officials and representatives of local establishments of religions organizations in the district.
During the one-day event, Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Committee for Religious Affairs introduced key contents regarding the law on belief and religion approved by Vietnam’s National Assembly last November, including the necessity and guiding principles for the legislation and new points of the law as compared with the previous legislation on religion and belief in Vietnam.
