The home affairs department of Tra Vinh province organized on March 30 a disseminating conference on the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree.
Attending the conference taking place in Tra Vinh city were key cadres tasked with religious affairs at provincial and district levels and religious dignitaries, deacons and clergies in the province.
The event’s opening ceremony saw the participation of Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Tấn Hùng, Vice Chairman of the provincial Home Affairs Department Lê Thành Thái and Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Văn Tịnh.

During the conference, Vice Chairman of the GCRA Trần Tấn Hùng introduced new contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the religious law.
The conference was also a chance for local cadres and religious dignitaries and deacons to exchange with conference’s presenters on practical issues relating to the implementation of the religious law in the locality.
