Hai Duong provincial People’s Committee held on December 19 a meeting to disseminate Law on Belief and Religion to district-level officials in the province.
The meeting saw the participation Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Lương Văn Cầu, Vice Chairman of Government Committee for Religious Affairs Dương Ngọc Tấn, and over 200 officials who are key cadres of provincial departments and agencies, heads of districts’ authorities and members of the provincial religious steering committee in the province.
During the one-day event, GCRA Vice Chairman Dương Ngọc Tấn briefed the necessity of guiding principles for enact of the legislation, and introduced key and new contents of the religion Law passed in last November that will take effect in 2018.
