The Committee for Religious Affairs under the Home Affairs Department in the central province of Ninh Thuan held on October 6 a conference for disseminating laws on belief and religion planned for 2020 for key members of religious organizations in the province.
Present at the conference’s opening ceremony included Head of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Phan Hữu Đức, Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Trương Thanh Long, Head of Institute for Religious Policy Studies under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Thị Liên, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tấn Thuyên, and 180 dignitaries and deacons representing religious organizations in Ninh Thuan.
The one-day event covered key contents of policies and laws of the Party and State, an overview of the religious life in the country, and the state administration on religion in Ninh Thuan.
The dissemination conference also provided discussion and explanations of practical issues related to practices of belief and religion in the locality.
