A disseminating conference on religious laws was held on July 13 in the summer retreat school set up in Ngoc Trung pagoda located in An Khê provincial city of Gia Lai.
Participating the conference included 50 nuns of Mendicant Buddhist sect in the province.
During the one-day conference, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Văn Nô presented the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies on religion.
Officials from the provincial religious committee also presented key contents of Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree No.162, Law on Residence, Law on Land, and Law on Construction, etc., as well as provided discussion and explanation of practical issues relating religious practices in the locality.
