Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee held on September 8 a conference to disseminate the new Law on Belief and Religion to religious dignitaries and deacons in the province.
About 500 dignitaries and deacons of religions in the locality have attended the one-day conference.
During the conference, head of the Department of Legislation and Inspection under the Government Committee for Religious Affairs shared with the conference participants the necessity for enactment of the new law on belief and religion, as well as layout and key contents of the law.
Earlier, on September 7, the provincial People’s Committee also held a similar conference for over 500 participants who are local officials and staffers from sectors of home affairs, mass mobilization work and public security tasked with religious affairs in the province.
