Disseminating laws on religion for key Catholics in Thai Binh

300 leading personnel of Catholicism in Thai Binh province attended on October 18 a conference disseminating laws on religion.

The event was co-organized by the Office of Internal Security under the provincial Public Security and the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs.

At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Đỗ Đắc Tuyn, Head of the Internal Security Office delivered key contents of the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on religion including the Law on Belief and Religion and Decree No. 95/2023/ND-CP dated December 29, 2023 detailing a number of articles and measures to implement the Law on Belief and Religion.

He also expressed hope that leading personnel of the Catholic Church in the province would continue promoting fine tradition of “Good secular and religious life” and “Living the Gospel in the heart of the nation for happiness of fellow citizens” of the Vietnamese Catholic Church, and proactively encouraging parishioners to practically contribute to socio-economic and rural development programs in the locality.

The conference also allowed exchanges and discussion between representatives of local authorities and Catholic participants about practical issues relating religious practices in the province.
