The event was chaired by Secretary of the district Party committee Nguyễn Đình Viên.

During the dialogue, the local Party leader informed religious participants of socio-economic development results in the district as well as praised practical contributions made by religious organizations and followers in the locality.

At the dialogue representatives of the Protestant congregations suggested local authorities create favorable conditions for allocating land, establishing Protestant churches and organizing general meetings, the priest of Quang Nhieu Parish asked concerning competent authorities to quickly solving administrative procedures relating the land issue and the building of worshipping facilities. The abbot of Linh Phong pagoda also recommended local authorities to ensure public order and security protection for practices of religions at worshipping places, etc.

Concluding the event, Secretary Nguyễn Đình Viên pledged to direct concerning local authorities to promptly address practical issues raised by religious dignitaries for meeting legitimate needs of local religious organizations and followers.
