Di An district authorities in Binh Duong province held on January 31 a meeting with dignitaries of religious organizations in the district ahead of Lunar New Year 2018.
The event was attended by Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Trần Đức Thịnh, representatives of Di An district authorities and over 80 dignitaries from religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Caodaism and Islam in the locality.
During the meeting, representatives of the district authorities briefed the religious participants on socio-economic development in the locality and praised religious organizations for practical contributions in the locality.
On the occasion, Di An district authorities extended Lunar New Year greetings presented Tet gifts to participating religious dignitaries.
