Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng presents floral congratulation to Kon Tum diocese

The Deputy Minister accompanied by Vice Chairman of the Party Commission for Mass Mobilization Đỗ Văn Phớn, Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Tiến Trọng and Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Nguyễn Thành Chung was welcomed by Bishop of Kon Tum diocese Aloisius Nguyễn Hùng Vị.

During the visiting reception, while extending warm celebrations of Easter to the bishop, priests and lay parishioners of Kon Tum diocese, Deputy Minister Vũ Chiến Thắng highlighted practical contributions made by Catholic communities for socio-economic development in localities. He expressed hope that Bishop Aloisius Nguyễn Hùng Vị and the diocese priests would continue guiding local Catholic followers to practice the religion according to the state law and actively engage in social programs and patriotic movements launched in localities.
