The council for national defense and security education of Quang Binh province held on October 25-26 a conference on defense-security knowledge for religious deacons in the province.

The event drew the participation of 35 deacons who are members of pastoral councils of Catholic parishes and executive boards of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s chapters in districts of Quang Ninh, Bo Trach, Tuyen Hoa, Quang Trạch and Ba Don in the province.
The two-day conference covered key contents of the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies on religion and defense & security, the prevention of law violations in cyberspace, the Law on Belief and Religion, etc.
