As many as 200 dignitaries of religious organizations in Da Nang City have participated in an exchange meeting held by the municipal government on January 15 ahead of the traditional New Year (Tet) 2020.
Joining the event also included Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyễn Văn Quảng and representatives from the municipal People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
During the meeting Deputy Secretary Nguyễn Văn Quảng shared with participating religious dignitaries results of socio-economic development in 2019 and highlighted practical contributions of leaders and members of local religious organizations in achievements recorded in the city last year.
The party official also presented gifts and extended Tet greetings to the religious difnitaries
Representative leaders of religious organizations thanked concerning municipal authorities of Da Nang for favorable conditions extended to religious practices of local religious people and shared socio-economic achievements recorded in the city.
