The project aims to evaluate the current conservation, restoration and promotion of values ​​of folk songs, folk dance and folk music of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development; gradually develop a system of specific policies for preservation and promotion of the fine traditional culture of ethnic minorities, and proposes solutions for promoting values of folk songs, folk dance and folk music of ethnic minorities, associated with tourism development for 2021-2030 tenure.

The project will organize surveys in some ethnic minority areas in provinces of Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Thanh Hoa, Dak Nong, Thua Thien Hue, etc., as well as invite experts and researchers to propose strategies for the conservation, restoration and promotion of values ​​of the folk songs, folk dance and folk music of the ethnic minorities, associated with tourism development.

The project is expected to be completed in November 2021.
