Conference promoting religious engagement for ensuring social security held in Quang Nam

Over 200 religious delegates in Quang Nam province have attended a conference held on October 25 with the aim to promote religious engagement for better ensuring social security in the locality.

The conference was co-organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Quang Nam and the provincial Public Security.

During the conference, representatives from religious organizations of Buddhism, Catholicism, Protestantism and Caodaism contributed opinions, in their religious perspectives, on how religion can proactively support and join in patriotic movements for ensuring public order and national security.

­­­The central province of Quang Nam currently is home to over 200,000 followers of religions, accounting for 12,5 % of the provincial population.
