The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Thanh Khe Dong ward of Da Nang city’s Thanh Khe district held on May 26 a conference on social criticism on the draft of the operating regulation of Thanh Khe village Temple.

Attending the event included representatives from local authorities, the management board of Thanh Khe village Temple and representatives from clans in Thanh Khe Dong ward.
According to historical sources, Thanh Khe Village Temple, a belief worshiping place in the locality, was built in 1815. The People’s Committee in Thanh Khe Dong ward has been assigned to manage the preservation and promotion of the temple’s national cultural values.
Over the past years, the management board of Thanh Khe village Temple exercised its competence according to an operation regulation issued by the ward People’s Committee. However, during the management process, some contents have been unsuitable with practical conditions in the locality. So, the conference aimed to ensure the management on belief activities of Thanh Khe village Tempe appropriate with the state law and create favorable conditions for belief practices of locals.
