Ben Cat district’s people committee in Binh Duong province held on April 19 a conference on the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion and its guiding decree No. 162 to local officials and key religious.
The event was attended by over 100 participants who are district and commune levels officials tasked with religious affairs and religious dignitaries and deacons in the district.
During the one-day conference, the provincial committee for religious affairs introduced key contents of the law on belief and religion and the government decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the religious law. In addition, the decentralization of local competent authorities prescribed in the law and core contents of the administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion were also covered at the gathering.
